User Account & Security

If you create an account on our website:

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details.

You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use or security breach.

The Sootee shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.

Products & Pricing

All products are subject to availability.

We make every effort to display accurate product images and descriptions, but variations may occur due to lighting, screen settings, and the handmade nature of our products.

Prices are listed in INR and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

We reserve the right to modify prices, products, or offers at any time without prior notice.

Order Acceptance & Cancellation

Orders are confirmed only after successful payment and confirmation email/SMS.

Customers may cancel orders before shipment only.

Once shipped, cancellation is not possible.

Duplicate orders must be reported immediately for refund processing.

We reserve the right to cancel orders due to stock issues, pricing errors, fraud suspicion, or unforeseen circumstances, with a full refund issued in such cases.

Payments

We accept Credit Cards, Debit Cards, UPI, Net Banking, and Wallets.

Cash on Delivery (COD) is not available.

All payments are processed through secure third-party gateways.

We are not responsible for payment failures due to bank or gateway issues.

Shipping & Delivery

We currently ship only within India.

Orders are processed within 57 working days.

Delivery timelines range between 7–10 working days.

Free shipping is available on all orders above ₹1499.

Delays due to courier partners, weather, strikes, or force majeure are beyond our control.

Customers must ensure accurate delivery information; we are not liable for non-delivery due to incorrect details.

Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

Returns and exchanges must be requested within 7 days of receiving the item.

Requests must be emailed to contactus@thesootee.com with Order ID and reason.

Returned items must be unused, unwashed, and have tags intact.

Sale items are strictly non-returnable and non-exchangeable.

Damaged or wrong items must be reported within 48 hours with photos or an unboxing video.

Reverse pickup is arranged within 5–7 business days.

If pickup is missed, the customer must self-ship.

Courier charges are refundable up to ₹150 only if the customer self-ships initially.

All returns undergo quality checks before approval.

Refunds are processed within 5–7 working days after QC pass.

If exchange size is unavailable, refund will be issued.

Wash & Care Disclaimer

Our garments are handcrafted using natural and low-impact dyes.

Slight colour bleeding may occur initially, especially for Bandhani, indigo, and tie-dye fabrics.

Appliqué, Madhubani, and hand-painted garments are dry clean only.

The Sootee is not responsible for damage due to improper care.

Intellectual Property

All content including images, designs, logos, text, and graphics is the exclusive property of The Sootee.

Unauthorised reproduction or use is strictly prohibited.

User Conduct

You agree not to misuse or interfere with website operations.

You agree not to post unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringing content.

You agree not to attempt unauthorised access to systems or data.

You agree not to use the website for fraudulent purposes.

We reserve the right to terminate access for violations.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The website and services are provided “as is”.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We are not liable for damages arising from website usage or service failures.

Limitation of Liability

Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the product purchased.
